The minutes for monday's meeting have just been sent to you guys:

Things to do:
1. Reply Chin Hwee to double check if you took the right stationery
2. Inform logistics about your medical records and if you're interested in the course a.s.a.p.
3. Reply me if you were absent with the reason for your absence (for attendance record taking purposes)
4. Finish selling all the stationery!

1) Meeting Schedule

There will be a meeting every week starting from week 6 onwards.
The meeting(week 6,8,10+) will start on wednesday and the following week be on monday instead. Those who are unable to make it on wednesday (week 6) must attend the meeting on the following monday (week 7,9,11+). However, everyone is encouraged to go for all meetings. Time and venue are yet to be confirmed.

o Meetings on odd weeks are on Mondays, 3.30 pm
o Meetings on even weeks are on Wednesdays, 5.30 pm


2) Gathering at cherie's house

There will be a gathering/stayover/dinner on the 24/8 Thursday. This is yet to be confirmed. More details will hopefully be up over the next few days.

3) Sales of Ace T-shirts

Everyone is strongly encouraged to sell at least 5 shirts to their peers, family or whoever you can think of asap.

4) Admin matters

• Please hand in a photocopy of your passport if you haven’t
• Hand in result slips (to Thaddeus) too

Hello everyone!

Okay, so here's the schedule for the Bazaar. Basically, everyone can just go to the stall under LT1 during their free period/ lunch break to help out, because that's when the crowd comes! The stuff will be placed in the staff room when nobody's free to tend the stalls. Everything will be placed on 2 tables which will be under LT1 and we're selling 4 things: cookies, stationary, shirts (which have to be pre-ordered) and clay pendants/ paper weight. The prices of these things are already on a piece of paper so you guys can just check when you're at the stall. You can help out with selling any of these items. Then you'll have to "report" to the I/Cs about how many you sold, the details, yadayada (I/C for cookies- Cherie & Melissa, T-shirt- Yan Ting, clay pendants/ paperweight- Dyanna & Sze Wan, stationary- Wilson & Felix and a few other guys, i think) And of course, you can grab the donation cans and go around collecting money from people you know hehehehe. Alright, that's about it i guess. See you guys tomorrow at the stall! And Cherie says: wear the shirts on Friday :):):)

Ok so here's the thing, the PR comm has come up with 2 different designs of banners.


First Design A serious and formal approach, the way professionals do it. Really pretty sunrise to represent a new beginning to a legacy(: haha.


Second Design
This on the other hand will bring us across as a fun-loving and funky group with all the colours and graphics.

Please do comment on which one you like better and if you think it can be made better in any way, just mention it! Thank you(:

Btw, some of you can't seem to see the navigation buttons properly, they look perfectly fine here (they are supposed to be spades), but nonetheless I'll see what I can do about it.

Here's a summary of what we discussed about yesterday, 020708.


1. PUBLICITY

(i) Shirts
So basically we have 2 shirts.

This:
It's going to be yellow-based with black print.


&This:
Hmmm, currently, the PR comm is trying to get the best possible price for these shirts (which would be both cotton), we'll tell you the price asap. Estimated cost: $20 for the 1st, $10 for the second.
And during our bazaar, half of us would be wearing the first shirt while the other half would be wearing the second. This is to advertise our shirts as we plan to sell them to the rest of the college.

(ii)Banner Above is our initial poster which we were suppose to paint. But it was a unanimous decision that the poster is to be printed (Size: 3m x 1m) and so the PR comm is going to make it nicer(: Estimated cost: $60

2. FUNDRAISING IDEAS for the bazaar
